Vakalasa means, "to have fun" in Fijian and that’s what we’re all about. If the Kids are happy then everyone's happy. At Amunuca Kids Club we will busy your children with a variety of entertaining, adventurous and (Shhh) educational activities that will keep kids engaged and excited throughout their stay. We aim to share a sample of Fiji’s charming culture - rich with customs and a strong sense of community.
Classic games and activities will be supervised over a vast playground
of beach, forest, gardens, pool and our own rugby oval. There will be
guided beach and rainforest walks where children discover sea creatures
and mystical treasures including sightings of native aquatics, birds
and animals.
On rainy days or during the hottest hours of the day when the children could do with some time out of the sun, the fun doesn’t stop. Beautifully crafted Fijian puzzles, board games, craft activities, books, are highlights of our program.

Located behind the Vunativi Family Restaurant the Vakalasa Kids Club is open from early to late. Separate supervised dinners are available between 5pm and 7pm, please enquire.

After the Sun goes down
After dinner we take advantage of the balmy Fijian nights with some spectacular Stargazing under the clear night skies. Night walks, stories by the campfire, beach spotlight, red rover and other games, all make evenings at Amunuca Island Resort an unforgettable experience. Or simply relax in our very own cinema catching a latest release film.
Age Groups

Children under the age of three years are welcome, but must be accompanied
by a dedicated nanny or an adult at all times.
For the older kids there will be organized activities such as; Beach
cricket, Volleyball, Tug of war competitions, kiting, rugby, canoeing,
touch football and kayaking races.

Parents, you can relax knowing your children are safe and enjoying their time under the guidance of Usaia, a fully qualified childhood professional and his world famous child friendly team. With a vast experience in child care from world reknowned International School, Usaia's enthusiastic, passionate and fun approach to his work will make sure your children will get the most out of their holiday.
By the time the holiday is over the kids will have already planned the next trip back to Amunuca Island Resort.
Nanny Service
Nanny Service is provided at Amunuca Island Resort in the comfort of your room with the option for your sitter to take the children out and about. 24-hour advanced booking is required. If your family is interested in this service, please contact our Babysitting Coordinators.
Nannies require a three-hour minimum booking and are charged at FJD$6.00 an hour. Child – staff ratios apply. The nanny service observes a 24-hour cancellation fee.
